Our role is not only to deliver housing and infrastructure but to ensure that every project strengthens the communities and nations we partner with.
In Alberta
Our work intersects with Treaty 7 lands, home of the Black Confederacy – the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai Nations, as well as the Tsuut’ina Nation and the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations of Chiniki, Bearspaw and Wesley. We acknowledge the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, whose people have longstanding ties to these lands.
In British Columbia
We recognize the unceded territories of the Coastal Salish, Nlaka’pamux, Secwépemc, Ktunaxa, and Syilx Peoples, whose stewardship of their lands continues today.
In Saskatchewan
We work within homelands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dene, Dakota, Lakota, Nakota, and Metis Peoples, guided by the commitments made under Treaties 4, 6, 8, and 10.
We also honour the red River Metis, represented by the Manitoba Metis Federation, whose homeland extends across the prairie provinces, into Northwest Territories and south across parts of the U.S.A.
At Taiga Modular Solutions, we recognize that the places where we live and work are not just landscapes, they are homelands. Our projects take shape on the traditional territories of Indigenous nations across western Canada and beyond, and we carry that responsibility with respect.
Across Turtle Island, we acknowledge the enduring relationships Indigenous peoples hold with their Territories, and the realities of ongoing colonization. At Taiga Modular solutions, this acknowledgement is not ceremonial – it is a commitment. We are dedicated to listening, learning, and working alongside First Nations, Metis, and Inuit communities to advance sovereignty, self-determination, and reconciliation through the work we do.
